SEATech students to help build Habitat for Humanity home

Friday, October 26, 2018, SEATech students in Eric Matson’s Construction Technology class participated in a groundbreaking ceremony for a new Habitat for Humanity home being built on Carrie Ave. SEATech students will be involved in most all aspects of construction from start to finish.

Students in the SEATech Construction Technology course learn blueprint reading, carpentry, electrical systems, masonry and plumbing. Students also research and design both renewable and nonrenewable energy sources. Students in the program are eligible to earn college credits and/or industry certification.
